VICTORY PARK is an 3-day event happenend in Brooklyn Bridge Park. As a 3-day event, it’s a basketball experience all about victory — energizing NYC’s hoop culture with high-stakes competition and community. Setting beneath the Brooklyn Bridge at Emily Warren Roebling Plaza, the event brought together the city’s best high school hoopers, legendary local leagues, and future stars. The culmination of the weekend was the crowning of the Season 6 NYvsNY champs.
From August 10th to 12th, Victory Park hosted matchups between the top teams from NYC’s most competitive basketball leagues. The NYvsNY finals, the crown jewel of Victory Park, acted as a celebratory end-cap to the weekend. The spatial design married unexpected materiality with elements that felt true to the DNA of the city and streetball, injecting winning energy into the park. Guests could enjoy the park grounds, purchase exclusive Victory Park merch, and soak in the atmosphere between games.
